ABB E‑mobility’s new A400 Charger

Fastned, a leading EV charging operator and ABB E-mobility, announced today that Fastned will pilot ABB E-mobility’s A400 All-in-One charger in the Netherlands. The A400 All-in-One charger is an example of Fastned and ABB E-mobility’s shared mission to provide the best possible charging experience for its customers.  

Zurich/Amsterdam, August 20, 2024 — The first A400 chargers have been installed at Fastned’s largest charging location in the Netherlands, ‘Den Ruygen Hoek-West’, on the A4 highway. The pilot will allow both parties to receive real-time feedback to solidify the product and user experience. 

The A400 has been developed with a consumer-centric design approach focused on delivering the highest charging success rates possible. A 32-inch screen and interface guides drivers seamlessly through the charging experience from driving up to the charger to completion.
