Brandt Hastings Joins ABB E-mobility as President North America

ABB E-mobility today announced that Brandt Hastings has joined the company as President of its North American operations. Hastings steps into the role with an extensive background in EV charging and experience driving transformation, growth, and innovation in the tech and energy sectors.

Hastings previously led Volta Charging, North America’s leading EV charging infrastructure company, as President and CEO, including overseeing an integration with Shell Group after it acquired the company. Prior to his role as President and CEO, Hastings served as Volta’s Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. He led the company’s effort to combine digital advertising and public EV charging – a groundbreaking approach that accelerated growth and revenue. With over 20 years of commercial and management experience, Hastings also held leadership roles at iHeartMedia and Clear Channel Communications.

The appointment takes effect in July.
